I have tried Mexican food many times in the past at different places but never enjoyed the food but my visit to Rodeo made my day.
We group of 12 friends landed here for Lunch on busy Saturday noon. Located in inner circle, next to KFC near gate number 8 and 1 of Rajiv Chowk metro station. This restaurant is serving from many years but this is the first time I visited them.
I loved the decor. I have seen such kind of things in Hollywood movies only. Hard wooden tables, colourful sitting and table mats.
In cocktail *drinks I have tried blue and peach margarita and Southern belle in mocktails. I liked the way margaritas served with layer of ice.
In *starters, I liked these:
*Pollo Con Pallo – Grilled marinated bone less big chicken pieces served with Serrano mayonnaise.
*Taquitos – It looks like spring rolls filled with chicken. Was very Chrisp from outside and stuffing was very soft and juicy.
*Tacos – chicken and paneer tacos was yum.
*Cascaras De Papa – Veg snack, potato skins stuff with cheese and cream.
In main course, I liked these:
*Fajitas – Soft flour tortillas (roti) with choice of veg/non veg fillings served with cheese, sour cream and salsa.
*Pollo Loco Fiesta – Bone less chicken pieces cooked in Mexican sauce served with boiled rice. Chicken was served is some kind of bowl made up of PAPAD I can say in desi language.
*Mushroom Crepes – This looks very creamy but actual it was not. Soft PAN cakes rolled with mushroom stuffing. Highly recommended.
*Rajas Poblano – corn curry served with boiled rice. I simply loved this.
*Enchilada – Tortilla (roti) folded with soft juicy chicken. This a must try stuff.
In *desserts I liked:
*Maxican Brownie – Soft brownie topped with vanilla ice cream.
*Tartas De Coco – Tart with cinnamon and sweetened coconut.
One thing I liked a lot about Mexican food is that it looks so so beautiful. So many different Colors makes food looks so gorgeous.
Service guys was wearing cow boy kind of dress, with big smile on face provided quick service. I have seen head chef on the floor and taking feedback from customers. It was wonderful experience. Generally I don’t see service guys and chefs interact so beautifully with guests.
Atlast, If you have never tried Mexican food before then RODEO is the place where you can give a try and I am sure you will like it.
