Non veg starters, main course and dessert not to miss at Dhaba by Claridges, Cyber Hub, Gurgaon

Desi food in stylish Dhaba – This is Dhaba by Claridges is all about.

At the entrance, staff member wearing typical punjabi dancer’s dress will greet you with a smile. As soon you enter, you will notice a fascinating decor, colourful chairs and tables, big tyre decoratives, awarded certificates framed on wall, a desi looking bar at the corner and in front you will find big big containers filled with food and old style pickle containers and staff members in typical colourful kurtas. I simply loved it.

Food not to miss:

  • Galouti Kebab
  • Tandoori mutton champ
  • Tawa Surmai
  • Balti Meat
  • Butter Chicken
  • Kulfi

When it comes to food, galouti kebabs, mutton champ and tawa surmai I liked in starters whereas chicken tikka was good too but I have found tikka pieces not so soft. In main course, I simply loved butter chicken, balti meat which was served beautifully in small balti and dhabe ki gobhi which was full of cream and yummy. Dal makhani was decent too. Lacha parantha was perfectly made. The show stealer was the Kulfi. One of the best kulfi I ever had served beautifully in kullard. Phirni was made perfect too. In Phirni generally sugar remains low but sugar was high in this dhaba’s Phirni and yummy too. Overall I loved the food and won’t hesitate to recommend to my loved ones too.

In Drinks, Paan Mojito, bacadi and paan based cocktail is something new to try. Other desi cocktail like Gulaabo, Mutiyaar are not to miss too.

What I didn’t liked:

  • Mint chatni – Chatni was made nice but some chatpata thing was missing. Salt was at low side too.
  • Tikka – Chicken tikka more softer and juicy would be better.

Service was very attentive and Manager Mr. Dinesh took care of us really well.

Overall I enjoyed food a lot. If you looking for a perfect place to have north India food in cyber hub/Gurgaon, The Dhaba by Claridges is the place.
