Rang De Basanti Urban Dhaba, Hauz Khas Village serves authentic punjabi food

Visiting the Indian restaurants is not a new thing. But trying a place which makes all the things different makes all the difference. Rang de Basanti Urban Dhaba is of the most happening places where you will find a unique ambiance and food served with unique style. It is a yellow colored theme place, with posters all over the walls, depicting cartoons. There is some hilarious conversation going on between the cartoon characters.

In addition to it, the kind of music played at a place makes it complete. The songs of India and Pakistan artists are played and also the Punjabi folk songs from the 1980s take you to the land of rocking Punjab. Not to forget is the food, served straight from the heart of Punjab. There is a saying in Persian that says that if you have good food, you have got heaven. This implies greatly on this restaurant, as they serve such simple delicacies with uniqueness and freshness.

There is the Sawa futiya seenkh(non-veg) 1.25 feet long, which is meat with coriander, tastes great. Amritsari fish pakoras are served ,which are crispy from outside and so soft from inside that they melt in the mouth. Meat chawal is a delight to get here, which is mutton chunks in the rice cooked well. The authentic Punjabi Makki di roti and Sarson ka saag are served hot with sweet jaggery. The dessert has no rules and so you can enjoy the Pan-ice-cream, flavored with gulkand and topped with cherries and saunf.
